Propolis is a natural strong antibacterial and antiviral substance that bees produce to protect their hive. When I need extra immune support, propolis is one of the most effective supplements, I take it during winter and at the first sign of a cold and it stops it in its tracks. Can be taken 3-4 times a day if needed, with no side effects.

I've been using some of the NOW nutritional supplements for many years and I was satisfied with achieving my health goals with their products. In my opinion, this propolis extract does the work of strengthening my immune system especially during the cold and flu seasons. Whenever I felt some discomfort or congestion in my throat, I took 1-2 capsules (with or without food) and the next day the symptoms were gone. Propolis, among its many health benefits for immunity, is especially great for respiratory health.

I read that propolis is good for my dogs' teeth. They hate the taste so I will keep trying, but if that doesn't work out I am happy to just take it myself to stay healthy in the winter. Love propolis!
